STK at the Mavka Water Park

The design of the shower areas for the “Mavka” water park served as an excellent example of combining modern design with uncompromising reliability. Fundermax HPL panels in the deep and striking 0497 Stonehenge finish were selected for the shower partitions. The texture, which mimics natural stone, creates a stylish, monumental look for the spaces and blends harmoniously with the overall concept of the resort. Since the shower partitions are constantly and directly exposed to running water and hot steam, this material was chosen specifically for its unique physical properties. Thanks to the complete absence of pores in the structure, the panels do not absorb moisture at all, which guarantees 100% protection against swelling or warping. In addition, this monolithic surface ensures the highest level of hygiene: dirt does not accumulate on it, bacteria do not multiply, and mold does not form—a critically important requirement for public showers.

Under the conditions of intensive daily use at a water park, the panels demonstrate exceptional resistance to mechanical damage, scratches, and impacts. Despite its extraordinary strength, the material is easy to work with, allowing for the installation of reliable shower enclosures in any configuration. Maintaining these partitions is as simple as possible—the surface is easily cleaned of soap scum using standard cleaning products, ensuring the longevity and pristine appearance of the shower areas for many years to come.
